Broward County NOW was a chapter of NOW, founded in FIXME

In 1976, the chapter sued Florida NOW for decisions made during the Southern Regional Conference. As in prior years, many women attended the conference but were unable to or did not pay the registration fee. Because the organizers announced that women could pay a reduced fee by pre-registering, they blocked non-registered attendees from voting on resolutions. Members from Broward County NOW moved to delay the entire conference and other important acts, such as state officer elections, because of this act.[1]
